Vatican Relais Rome

The location is unbeatable, just a stone's throw from major attractions like the Vatican. The balcony in the Superior Double Room offered a cozy spot to relax after a long day of exploring.

The entry is tucked away in an apartment building, which can feel a bit odd for those expecting a traditional hotel front.

Bad soundproofing: you can hear the neighbors, doors slam very loudly.

By and large, it was amazing base for sightseeing in Rome, had much fun and met very amiable staff in a non intrusive professional manner. My room was decent sized with 2 bathrooms, had smoke detectors for safety measures. Having a hairdryer, a bidet, and guest toiletries was a bonus. The location was magnificent; close to a museum and a church. Was in a really quiet area and close to restaurants and eateries.

My room was actually a little small.

Vatican Relais is a clean and safe guest house located 4-5 minutes from the Vatican. The rooms are typical European size and feature good air conditioning. I found the staff, particularly Vince, to be helpful. Breakfast options were satisfactory for the reasonable price, and the nearby restaurants provided great dining options.

The rooms were pretty clean and the space was cute, perfect for my large family and even accommodated my fiancée comfortably. Plus, we loved the balcony for some nice family moments after a day of exploring nearby sights.

My wife says that the restroom layout was a bit cramped.

Ideal hotel with excellent service and ideal location not far from Vatican and metro stations, St Peters square and the bus station. Well-equipped rooms with 2 bathrooms, splendid stay! Amazing food at the authentic restaurant.

I enjoyed my stay over four nights in a Superior Double Room with a balcony. The location was great for exploring the city. While breakfast was decent, I recommend trying nearby restaurants for more variety. Book ahead for the best views from the balcony!

It was just a smart choice for a lightning trip in Rome with all in all great value for money. The room was verynice and neat, made returning after a day of sightseeing a real pleasure. Explore nearby cafés for breakfast instead of relying on the hotel's offerings for variety.

The air conditioning worked exceptionally well, keeping everything comfortable despite the heat, and the breakfast, while limited, included fresh pastries and were consistently well-prepared, which I loved. I wish they had more options for breakfast varieties since it was the same every day. I would definitely choose this place again.
